2What these terms cover

These terms apply to one-to-one coaching, coaching packages, group programmes, workshops, communities or memberships, courses, workbooks, guides, templates, digital downloads and other educational resources that I may offer.

The description of the particular product or service on its sales page, checkout page, booking page or confirmation email forms part of our contract.

3Contract formation

A contract is formed when you place an order or booking and I accept it, normally by sending an order confirmation, booking confirmation or access details. You are responsible for checking your order before submitting it.

4Services and delivery

I will provide the product or service described on the relevant sales or booking page with reasonable care and skill. Delivery dates, session lengths, programme dates, access periods and included materials will be stated on the relevant page or in your confirmation email.

I may use third-party platforms, including Stan Store, Stripe, Zoom, Google Meet, Google Drive, Canva, Kit, Zoho Mail, Facebook Groups, WhatsApp, Skool or another community/course platform, and a booking platform such as Calendly.

5Coaching scope

My services are coaching and educational services. They are not psychotherapy, counselling, psychiatric treatment, medical advice, legal advice or emergency support. I do not diagnose or treat mental-health conditions, trauma-related conditions or medical conditions through these services.

You remain responsible for your own decisions, actions and wellbeing, and should seek specialist support where appropriate.

6Coaching commitment and outcomes

Some offers may include a commitment that I will continue working with you for an agreed period or until agreed programme criteria are met. Any such commitment will be described clearly on the relevant offer page, including what is included, any time or participation requirements, and when the commitment ends.

A statement that I will “keep working with you until it works” is not a guarantee of a particular relationship, emotional, personal or other result. It does not remove your responsibility to participate, apply the work or seek specialist support where needed.

7Group programmes and communities

In group settings, you may hear personal information shared by other participants. You must respect participants’ privacy, must not record or redistribute sessions without permission, and must not copy, publish or misuse another participant’s contributions.

I cannot guarantee that other participants will comply with these obligations.

8Digital products and intellectual property

Digital products are supplied in the format described on the relevant sales page. You receive a personal, limited, non-transferable licence to use them for your own personal, non-commercial purposes unless stated otherwise.

You must not resell, share, reproduce, distribute, publish, upload, adapt for commercial use or otherwise exploit the materials without my written permission. All materials, branding, exercises, workbooks, recordings, videos, templates and other content remain my intellectual property or that of my licensors.

9Safeguarding and suitability

You must not use coaching as a substitute for emergency or safeguarding support. If you are in immediate danger, contact emergency services or an appropriate specialist organisation.

Coercive control, intimidation, threats, violence, stalking and other abuse require specialist consideration. Exercises intended for ordinary relationship difficulties may be inappropriate or unsafe in an abusive situation. I may recommend specialist support, pause work or decline to provide coaching where I reasonably believe this is necessary for safety or suitability.

I may end a session or refuse a booking where there is abusive, threatening, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate behaviour.

10Booking, attendance and rescheduling

You are responsible for attending booked sessions on time and having a suitable internet connection and appropriate environment. Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule where possible. I will try to accommodate reasonable requests, subject to availability.

If you do not attend or provide insufficient notice, the session may be treated as used, except where consumer law requires otherwise or exceptional circumstances justify another arrangement. If I cancel, I will offer a reasonable alternative or appropriate refund or remedy.

11Prices and payment

Prices will be displayed on the relevant sales or booking page. Unless stated otherwise, prices are in GBP (£). Payment is currently processed through Stan Store and Stripe.

If instalments or payment plans are offered, the schedule and total price will be shown before purchase. Any payment-plan terms must be read alongside the relevant offer page.

12Cancellation rights

If you are a consumer, you may have statutory cancellation rights for online or distance contracts. The rules depend on whether you purchase a service, digital content, an event or an ongoing membership.

For services, if you ask me to begin during the cancellation period, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for the service supplied before cancellation.

For immediately-delivered digital content, I will ask you to expressly request immediate delivery and to acknowledge that you will lose your statutory 14-day cancellation right once delivery begins. If you do not provide the required consent and acknowledgement, your statutory cancellation right may continue for 14 days.

For memberships, cancellation may stop future renewals but does not automatically cancel charges already properly incurred.

To cancel, email lucy@youredoingitagain.com and include your name, order or booking details and a clear statement that you wish to cancel.

13Refunds and legal rights

Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights relating to faulty, misdescribed or improperly supplied products or services. Where a statutory refund is due, it will be provided within the legally required period using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

14Confidentiality and recording

I will treat information shared in one-to-one coaching as confidential, subject to lawful and necessary exceptions, including serious safeguarding concerns, risk of harm, legal obligations, professional advice or supervision, insurance, payment processing and service providers.

Sessions may use transcription or note-taking tools, such as Zoom AI, where appropriate. If audio is temporarily recorded to prepare notes, I intend to delete it once the notes have been prepared, subject to technical backups and legal requirements. I will not publish a client’s image, voice, recording or identifying information in marketing without appropriate permission.

15Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, respect boundaries and other participants, keep login details secure, use materials only as permitted, and decide whether the service is suitable for you. You should share only information you feel comfortable sharing.

16Liability

I will provide services with reasonable care and skill and comply with applicable consumer law. Nothing excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.

Subject to that, I am not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses or outcomes arising from decisions you choose to make.

17Third-party platforms

Third-party terms and privacy policies may apply to platforms used for payment, booking, video, email, storage, course delivery or communities. I am not responsible for interruptions caused solely by a third-party platform, although I will take reasonable steps to address delivery problems within my control.

18Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with my Privacy Policy, which forms part of the information provided to customers. The Privacy Policy explains the information collected, purposes, retention, sharing, international transfers and your data-protection rights.

19Testimonials and feedback

I may use written or video testimonials, anonymous feedback or screenshots only with appropriate permission. I will not include names, photographs, identifying details or other content contrary to the permission given.

20Complaints

Please email lucy@youredoingitagain.com with your name, order or booking details and a clear description of the issue. I will aim to acknowledge and address complaints within a reasonable period.

21Changes, events outside control and general terms

I may update these terms for future purchases. The terms applying to your purchase are those in force when the contract is formed, unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.

I am not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside my reasonable control. If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.

22Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory rights available under the law of the part of the UK in which you live.
